AI cold calling is the use of an AI voice agent to place real outbound phone calls to a list of prospects — holding a natural conversation, qualifying interest, and booking meetings — without a human dialing or on the line.
An AI cold caller dials the list, detects voicemail, follows up automatically on no-answers, and hands warm, qualified conversations to human closers. It differs from a power dialer, which speeds up a human rep's dialing; here the AI is the caller.
