Acceptable Use Policy

01Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do with Ooperon. It is part of our Terms of Service. Because the platform sends messages on your behalf across many channels, these rules protect your recipients, the messaging networks we rely on, and every other customer on the platform.

02Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service to:

Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
Send unsolicited or unlawful messages, or contact people without the consent required under laws such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
Promote fraud, scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, or deceptive practices.
Distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
Publish or transmit sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children.
Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or the networks connected to it.
Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.

03Restricted content & industries

Some uses carry heightened legal or platform risk. Depending on the channel and jurisdiction, additional rules or restrictions may apply to content relating to:

Regulated financial products, lending, and cryptocurrency.
Gambling, adult content, tobacco, cannabis, and firearms.
Health claims, prescription products, and other regulated categories.

You are responsible for complying with the rules of each messaging provider (for example, carrier and WhatsApp Business policies) that apply to your traffic.

04Messaging & consent

You must have a lawful basis and, where required, prior consent to contact every recipient your agents and automations reach — and you must honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly. Sending without consent risks suspension of your account and of the platform’s messaging access.

05Fair use & system integrity

Plan limits (such as monthly automation runs) exist to keep the platform fast and reliable for everyone. Do not attempt to circumvent limits, rate controls, or security measures, or to use the Service in a way that degrades performance for others. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the platform.

06Enforcement & reporting

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or throttle activity to protect the platform and its users. Where the law requires, we will cooperate with authorities. To report abuse or a violation of this AUP, email contact@ooperon.com.
