Agent-operated CRM
An agent-operated CRM is a customer relationship management system in which AI agents run the front-line conversations with leads — answering, qualifying, booking, and following up — and the records stay current automatically as a result.
In a traditional, rep-operated CRM, the software stores your data and waits for a human to reply to leads, log notes, and move deals through stages. In an agent-operated CRM the AI agents do that work: they hold real conversations across channels, take actions like booking a meeting, and write the outcome back to the record themselves.
The practical effect is that the pipeline reflects reality without manual data entry, and every lead gets an instant, competent response at any hour. Ooperon is an example of an agent-operated CRM.
